Websites Are Not Magic: You need these things:

Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML and its successor, XHTML)
This code establishes the ‘semantic’ structure of the site, as seen by browsers and search engines.
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for layout structure and typographic styling.
Javascript, to implement functions such as video and audio
Flash, for site-wide content and structure or for audio and video items within a traditional HTML structure.
